Where are the REAL people?

Where are they?  Do they even exist?
They do !  Where are they?  They are not visible anymore.  You have to squint real hard to spot one, and one will be really  fortunate to spot one.

All that we are dealing with are virtual people, people who only exist in the  social  media world or in text messages.  So much so, when you make a phone call, you get to speak to recordings or are directed to go visit website.

When we go places, everyone is busy on their phones or tablets or laptops.  You meet your own family members, who actually live with you, on social media or through "text messages."

All voices have been drowned , all eye contact is diverted, all handshakes have gone cold.  Everything has been replaced by virtual actions.  We thrive in each others imagination,  we communicate by a touch system called smartphones and we celebrate by abbreviations like "hbd", ttyl, tysm, cngrts or just emojis.

Thats life today!
No real people.  No voices.  No handshakes or hugs.  Nothing!  We are all running out-of-time for each other to spend some alone time with technology.

Its a DEAD world when people have silently drifted to a virtual existence.

Maybe One Day !

The morning alarm, sparrows chirping, breezing winds, wake me up in the morning.

My office is routed through a tunnel, which is always busy on traffic. Cars honking, pedestrians arguing, free music playing by the pillar, school kids singing from inside the bus, college girls talking loudly, working married women complaining to husbands while getting a dropped to work, water gushing through a broken pipe, I hear all the voices, and that’s not all.

I have a voice in my head that ignores all the other and gives me bizarre things to think about. Global warming, designer clothes, fishing, weekend activities, movie dates, dinner at my favourite restaurant, my office schedules, my meetings, my break up story. But my searching heart longs for more and more, it looks for a voice that I have never heard before. Maybe one day my searching heart will find what I am looking for.

At times, the voice in my head says I want designer clothes, or warm nice food, or just a warm hug, or just a smile, or some wine. It directs me to high boots, in the catalogues, the bags, the watches. But, my searching heart is looking for more and more. Maybe one day I will find the right collection that my searching heart wants. But then I don’t get satisfy by the choices and voices in my head.

My mind is trying to bottle me up in the same repeated life, with less salary, with my peers liking my jobs, my boss appreciations. My searching heart yearns for more. It is just one thing that it wants.

My searching heart wants to be like a butterfly, to fly, to create a stir in the world. It is the only thing that I look for.

Maybe one day I will find what my searching heart is looking for.

A flight that I long for. A pair of wings that I want to borrow. A little direction on the horizon is what my eyes want to see. Maybe one day my searching eyes will see what is it looking for.

Problems are Roots !

I decided to dedicate this month to PROBLEMS and I want to convey the important message that problems are not a problem  at all.  They are our Support & Help.

Let's compare problems to the root of a tree.  Life is a tree, which has leaves, branches, flowers, fruits and most importantly  ROOTS.  Can the tree exist WITHOUT the root?  Definitely NOT!

Just like the roots hold the tree to the soil and the earth, problems give us the foundation of  existence.  Without problems,  there would be no direction, no experience, no courage, no strength, no patience no endurance.  Everything ensues from problems.

The tree faces all weather and seasons, from scorching heat to heavy snow, and nonetheless stands its ground and does not collapse.  Even when very strong winds can bring the tree down  but the roots remain and it can grow back.

Just like the root keeps the tree alive under all conditions,  problems are not deadly, but our saviors.

You have a problem? So do I !

Problems come in all shapes, sizes, colors, anywhere, everywhere, anytime, every time, all along etc.  In fact, life is all about problems.  Nothing else!

Guess what!  We are so focused and haunted by the problems.  It can just surface from nowhere, everywhere.  So, what can we do?

Nothing!  Nothing can be done about it.  Just keep solving the problems and wait for more.

But on the brighter side, have we realized that just like life is full of problems, it is also abounding with solutions.  Problems and solutions goes ✋ in ✋.  They thrive together and make life much more interesting and easier.

Every problem solved is a step to achievement, satisfaction and success.  Think about it, if there was no problem will there be a word called solution or achievement or SUCCESS.

Problems does not lead us NOWHERE.  It leads us SOMEWHERE.

Problems add meaning and purpose to life.  It empowers us with experience that is found nowhere in the absence of problem.

Problem is a gift.  It unwraps many discoveries, knowledge, inventions, maturity, wisdom etc.

Problem does not come alone.  It comes in a bunch.  Every problem is a bud to a beautiful blossom.  Just like a bud is a beginning to a beautiful flower, a problem is a beginning of achievement.

Every problem is a direction to the road of VICTORY.  Enjoy your problems, welcome them, embrace them, hug them tight and squeeze the solution buried in it.

Problems will go if we stand our ground and don't try to dodge it.  Face it whole and square.  It's there to teach us to reach out for the endless promises that life has stored for us.

Now &Then : A sad state of affairs.

Back then and now......time has changed everything and everyone.......everywhere.

Then people had everything other than money and degrees .
Now people have degrees and money and nothing else.

Then people had feelings, manners and humanity.
Now these are old fashioned and obsolete.

Then communication was difficult and people found ways to communicate.
Now communication is easy and people find excuses not to communicate .

Then aunts and uncles were treated as parents.
Now parents are treated as aunts and uncles.

Then teachers were respected as guardians.
Now teachers are proved wrong and challenged by students.

Then even a year older person were treated with respect.
Now everyone is the same and no one deserves respect.

Then few people were rich while everone were middle class.
Now few people are very rich while everyone is below poverty.

Then people lived within their means.
Now people live beyond the limit of their credit cards.

Then sibblings were close like puppies and kittens.
Now cats and dogs are closer than siblings.

Then people had time for everyone and everything.
Now people have no time even to think.

Then people promoted peace and unity.
Now people promote only "themselves."

Then people traveled far and wide to meet family and friends.
Now people travel far and wide to avoid family and friends.

Then people accommodated family and friends .
Now people help to book hotels and motels.

We have no idea "What we have replaced with what!"

It all started two years ago.......

Dear Readers,

Join me to celebrate the successful two years of my Blog,  "UNSPOKEN WORDS" which started on January 12, 2016.  .  I was a pleasure to share my thoughts,  feelings and opinions.  Surely I could not have done it without you.  It was all because of you that I could carry on with a flood of thoughts and kept getting a new influx of ideas.

We worked as a team and during the journey of my blogposts.  I did not just have fun in writing,  I  learnt to care and share, to understand and realize.  The two years of my blog added a lot of meaning and value to my life.

The blog is a lot different from what I started.  The difference was because of you.  UNSPOKEN WORDS starts with U and this Blog is all about YOU.  You made the difference by being there for me, by making this blog part of your precious time, and your interest in the blogposts.

With the passage of time I have made new friends and met so many critics who helped me up the ladder of improvement over the last couple of years.   It was a challenging and a great adventure with words.  With my shovel of letters I kept digging for UNSPOKEN WORDS till I was able to voice them .

I am getting ready to share more stories with you.   Through the successful two years of my blogposts i did not just have fun in writing but kept moving forward to opportunities for more blogposts and new ideas.

As I begin my third year, I am all geared up for more experiences to share with you and learn from you and with you.

With great appreciation,

Sincerely,

Me.

Words

Words travel faster than you think
Even faster than you can blink
They come from nowhere, anywhere or everywhere
Yes they do always come from "somewhere"

They can heal
They can appeal
They make us pay a price
Once, twice or thrice they
Can cut, and damage
surpass our capacity to manage

They can break or shake
They can damage or forsake
Mind you what you utter
It can be your bread and butter
It can be your only hope
When you are clinging to a rope
